Who this is for
This guide is for cross-functional teams coordinating the move from approved implementation work into a live operating state. It is not a launch authorization, a complete readiness checklist, or a promise about timing, approval, reliability, customer response, or outcomes.
Decision map
Build a readiness record around evidence and authority. For each product, partner, control, technology, operations, finance, data, and support condition, identify the evidence, accountable evaluator, decision state, unresolved dependency, and approved response if the condition is not met.
Treat cutover and the early operating period as connected work. Access changes, releases, data transitions, customer communications, monitoring, support coverage, reconciliation, incident response, and escalation need named owners. The team should know who may pause or change an action inside the authority already approved for that role.
Roles and dependencies
A launch coordinator organizes the shared record but does not replace functional decision makers. Internal teams and counterparties retain their respective review, approval, implementation, and operating responsibilities. No checklist can establish that a program is ready without their evidence-backed decisions.
Questions to ask
- What evidence supports each readiness decision, and where is it recorded?
- Which dependencies have a clear owner, checkpoint, and response if incomplete?
- Who controls access, release, communication, monitoring, pause, and escalation decisions?
- How are early customer contacts, exceptions, breaks, and incidents routed?
- When does the launch record become the recurring operating and change record?
Adjacent capability handoffs
Operate owns the primary recurring-work questions. Use Admin, Permissions & Governance for decision and access boundaries, Implementation Checklist for cross-party dependencies, and Developer & Integration for interface and release questions. These links do not state availability.
Continue with the complaints and disputes operations guide and reporting and economics operations guide to define two recurring workflows that should not begin as afterthoughts.
Primary next step
Review the Operate capability and create one versioned readiness record that connects evidence, owners, decisions, dependencies, cutover controls, early operations, and escalation.
